Holistic therapy for personal transformation
Soul Centred Psychotherapy
For some, grief can be the start of a transformation and soul centred psychotherapy offers a deeper level of therapy for those who seek it.
Soul centred psychotherapy is an accredited therapeutic approach that incorporates mindfulness, lived experience, developing a relationship with self (and others). It can also encapsulate meaning and honouring, enchantment and the sacred. It is this focus that differentiates soul centred work from other approaches that use similar therapeutic techniques.
Client Testimonial
“Rose is an amazing grief counsellor, better than anyone I’ve seen, including psychologists and a psychiatrist. Without her support, I don’t know where I’d be. She’s the most caring person I’ve ever met and understands me.”

Soul Centred Psychotherapy and Grief
Being with the trauma of grief and loss and death is a primal state of being, finding the world as it was utterly transformed. The power and force of this loss shake the foundation of life and of meaning, it can be like a tsunami; feelings can be acute and confusing. This is and can be a life transformation. The liminal space between now and then is activated. Thoughts are tumbling, doors of experience are thrown open, with a sparse longing and frantic seeking. Seeking a balm, a cure and an end to the pain to numb the feelings of loss.
I choose to focus on death, grief and bereavement because the doorway is open to feelings, often submerged by hurrying, and doing, and forgetting. Having to be with this loss can give light on the darkness withheld. Soul centred psychotherapy is about relationships, honouring the individual struggles without prescribing a timetable or checklist of cures—the unfolding of the story of the individual sent and acute listening of the innermost stories.
In grief, sharing and telling the stories of life, of the suffering and the struggle to find meaning echos the role of individuation. Finding richness in the painful secrets we tell ourselves, holding the forgiveness and compassion for our humanness. This is the modality of grief counselling and soul centred psychotherapy.
